By late 1943, the fortunes of war had turned decidedly against Germany. Besieged and in retreat on all fronts and faced with the inevitable invasion from the Western Allies, the Luftwaffe was ordered to re-launch bombing operations against England. Scraping together the few remaining assets in France, to include the new He177 "Greif" (Griffon), operations began against London in January 1944. At the same time, RAF Bomber Command has been steadily increasing its nightly attacks on German cities. The successful continued bombing of Hamburg ("The Battle of Hamburg") has led to a sustained bombing campaign over Berlin.
As the chief of RAF Bomber Command, can you continue to pound the German cities, thus halting war production and driving the German population to its knees? As commander of the German Nachtjägd, will the new bombing campaign which includes the V1, the first of many new "wonder weapons" turn the tide of the war? The decisions are yours to make in "Baby Blitz"!

- The He177 Greif (Griffon) is Germany's heavy bomber with a range of 8 hexes.
He177 Greif
The He177 Greif (Griffon) was Germany's lone heavy bomber built in large numbers in WWII. It was an unusual design with two engines driving a single propeller. It suffered from many technical problems (and other problems associated with the need for the plane to be able to dive bomb!) and was nicknamed "the Flaming Coffin" or the "Luftwaffenfeuerzeug" (Luftwaffe's Lighter) due to the engines' tendency to catch fire.
Despite these problems, in January 1944, the Luftwaffe was determined to resume the night bombing campaign against England. The He177 will participate and prove to be the most successful bomber of "Operation Steinbock" /the "Baby Blitz").
Can you fly missions over England to give the British a taste of their own medicine? Fly the He177 and see!

- The V1 is not affected by foul weather and scores full points over the target city!
Vengeance weapon V1
Vengeance weapons − Germany's new wonder weapons that would turn the tide against the allies.
The first developed was the Vergeltungswaffe 1 or V1, an unmanned guided missile designed as an area bombing device. Using a simple design and guideance system, the pulse jet propels the 1800lb/850kg warhead towards its target. With a simple autopilot and countdown timer determining the path and distance, the V1 would enter a steep dive to strike the target city.
Even though about only 25% of the V1s hit their intended target, less than 10% will damage more houses in 2 months than in the original Blitz without the loss of any German pilots!
